By the blaze….
I wrote you something, I did,
but it annoyed me, all those words.
Too much talking.
I just erased my post for the first time ever.
Felt good.
Just lets stand here together
in the light
and sip the quiet,
Glad to just be here with you
for a moment,
s – l – o – w – i – n – g down,
at rest in the hush.
I feel warmer now.
Glad to share the firelight with you,
all the while my heart thumping hope
for a beautiful week of gathering
or what-ever-ing.
May these days be merry and bright.
And hey, hope you remember
to grin at that face in the mirror
each time you dash to the bathroom
….a warm nod of welcome
and how wonderful to have you here, too.

Oh that fire sure looks inviting and warm. I have a fire in the wood stove on this cold windy night and I’m sending you some warm hugs. I know that I need to slow down and I got a lot done while the weather was nice but now I must try to slow down with the season and take my cues from mother Nature.

I’ve been sipping the quiet alot lately but so delighted to stop by and share your warmth. I am wishing you all kinds of joy and pleasure this Thanksgiving and since I don’t yet know how to make the cute little hearts that everyone else leaves please believe me that I’m including many smiley faces and pretty pink love hearts!

Before I read this blog, I wrote in MY blog about the Christmas evening we sat around your fire outside and soaked in the warmth of our friendship. You are loved beyond measure, dear Jennifer.
It’s Thanksgiving Day, and our family eats an early dinner instead of lunch. Just now there is a lull between the hectic preparations and all the guests arriving for the meal. I wanted to take some of that time to visit my blogging friends. I needed to say thank you. Thank you for the inspiration you provide here in your place and for the comments you leave behind when you visit mine. Happy Thanksgiving, friend.
