feathers and stones…

Tugging some  feathers and stones from my pack,
little treasures I’ve collected along the way
to show and share.
I wanted you to have something to keep,
a little handmade  gift that speaks,

DSC00270editededitededitededitededited

just a whisper
to remind you how you’re not alone
ever
and maybe help you feel  how much I’ve enjoyed
your company on the trail

Let me know you’d like one of these
in a comment
and I’ll e-mail you back,
get your address
and send one on it’s merry way to you,
which ever one sings your name
to my heart:)

I’ve got a glad bundle,
all handmade and different

(not just the ones in these pics…..a gazillion more)
so it’ll be fun to choose.
(choices…..God I love them!)

Saunter on,  friend,  with all of your beautiful heart.

“The world is so empty if one thinks only of mountains,
rivers, and cities;
but to know someone who thinks and feels with us,
and who,  though distant,  is close to us in spirit,
this makes the earth for us
an inhabited garden.”

Such an incredibly generous act – from a generous and beautiful soul. I think postage to Oz would be prohibitive, but I have stored them deep in my heart. Thank you. So very much.

I have missed visiting you my friend.
Missed the colourful ways of your words
the vibrant hues of your imagery
    calling my heart
    to slow down
    berathe awhile
    and rest in the wonder
    of this place.

Hi Jennifer, I can’t believe that August slipped away so quickly. I so cherish your wise words that seem to flow like water down a quiet stream. Bubbling over river rocks and little branches and sticks along the way but always finding the peaceful level to see the reflections of the bigger picture.

The art that speaks to my heart the most is the Slowing down inside won’t cost you…
Thanks so much for this generous offer. You already have my email address.
I wish you the best September ever.
    Hugs,

I can just see you – your hands all covered in marker and glue, your face full of concentration and joy, your mouth with a grin of satisfaction. I love your creativity.

    Hi Jennifer,
“wrangling for control is a lifetime of hot flash” – so very aptly put!!! Control is a big issue with me and that phrase really says it all.
If you send me a piece of your work, I’ll send you a bit of my fiber art. I would so love to do that. I have loved sharing your journey this month.

How wonderful! I love them all and would be honored to have a piece of your beautiful art and insightful words at hand. (They all are terrific — but that one that speaks to me most is about honoring yourself. But really, they are all fabulous and if you have any left, I would be so very happy!

I will miss your daily blogs but I hope you will not disappear! I’ll continue to look forward and to visit every post! Thank you, my friend, for lifting me and for making me think — each and every day. Many hugs and blessings… jeanie
