one enchanted evening…

Enchanted,  I followed the snowfall
into the park
and slid down the hill,
silent in the night

DSC08232editededited

the quiet fell
soft as snow
and my heart knelt down
in wonder

DSC08235editededited

and thumped hard with joy
as the sky opened wide,
belted out a mysterious  hush
and wrapped me in the sound

this mercy falling down
gathering the me up
into swirling awe
and nudging me
more alive
in the living.

So grateful for this peaches and cream snow
and tickled you can wallow in it with me!

than being carried away.”

The pictures look magical! I especially love the tiny snow flakes so close to the lens. We had some snow here too some weeks ago… but today looks like good Spring weather. 🙂

A magical moment filled with awesome wonder and beauty captured for ever in a split second and shared over the globe, that too is a wondrous thing and I’m feasting my eyes on what you saw miles away from here. Every branch and tiny twigs covered and not
overlooked with a fleeting blanket of mirthful white.

Thank you for sharing these awesome photos. They gladden my hear fickle heart.
Our snow storm somehow has lost it’s magic but I let his fierce wind carry my cares away for another day.
    Hugs,
    JB

oh how my inner kidlet wants to be there
to feel the soft snow falling
to breathe the crisp cold air
to hear the squeak of my shoes
    in the white fluffy stuff
and reclaim a sense of wonder
