a Christmas hush….

Let’s go sit in the garden,  friend,
I need some sky.
We’ll just breathe the air awhile together,
let silence fall soft around
and settle over our hearts
while we keep the quiet.

No need for words.
Just your presence is plenty.
I may reach over and squeeze your hand
….it’s beautiful that you’re here.

But I won’t ruin this exquisite hush
with words.

 Peace to you,  dear one.
Warm,  golden,  rich,  buttery peace.

“how silently,  how silently,  the wondrous gift is given….”

    I always love to come here and savor your words. You know I love the heart behind them, but I also love the wordsmithing you do.
