the days were golden…
just this, dear friend,
from my heart to yours.
the words didn’t find me this week
but I wanted to paint you joy
and to share the way
the last of the zinnias hold the sun
soft and close
showing us how
to soak it in
for the cold, gray days to come
and just look at all this gold
~see how rich we are?
~and brave,
we’re braver than we know.
October has pounded on me hard
so I’m few of words
but richer in love
and braver than before.
“Love is vivid. I never wanted the pale version.
Love is full strength. I never wanted the diluted version.
I never shied away from love’s hugeness
but I had no idea that love could be as reliable as the sun.”

Jennifer, it looks like the words found you after all, condensed and intensified. I love the secret your zinnias shared, your lavish color. Courage.

Hi Jennifer,
Sorry that October was crushing for you but I’m glad that you can find Joy to share with your friends through your paintings.
Sometimes you have to let the beauty of nature and the bristles of the brush do the talking for you and you do it so beautifully.
I love those golden rich colors of the leaves, so beautiful.
You are right, we are rich and blessed.
Have a beautiful week.
Hugs.
JB
Lovin’ the love.

Big, Brave, heart and art! Love it all, from your words raw and real to your bright photos to your vibrant art!
Your words are still as powerful and vivid as your beautiful photos and paintings. Thank you for the sunshine you pour out on us!
thank you for sharing this beauty, even in the midst of your pain.
Wow! these really are joyful images:) The original photographs are beautiful but what you did with them is very exciting. They really do seem like they are jumping for joy with their brilliant colours and textures. Thank you for being part of Mandarin Orange Monday:)
Love is the answer and you always send so much our way. thinking of you and wishing you a better November xo
The sun light still lingering on your photographs is warming me all up. Thank you 🙂
i am often without words, too…..it’s not so bad especially when we have photos to fill the void !!
xo
The fewer the words, the more apt I am to visit a blog. I have a slow computer so each visit is a labor of love. When I have to wade through many words, I get discouraged. I love your photos, especially the maple leaves.
ohh…seeing that photo of the gold leaves makes me miss Wisconsin…walking in them, piling them up to jump into…you brought me much joy in the memories…thanks!!
Oh those trees, those trees!!! Our color here in SW Missoui is beautiful, but muted. We were so delighted on our trip to Illinois with all the vibrant reds and yellows. Heaven.
Thank you Jennifer for all these beautiful paintings you did for us. Your photos are beautiful and your words always. Sending you lots of Love to fill your heart and soul. Thank you for sharing. xo
Lovely art Jennifer such lovely colour and words. My heart my soul always feels better for seeing your beautiful art.
I also wanted to thank you Jennifer for your kind, encouraging words and for sharing with me to help me on my post I’m worn out. It helped me very much and I wanted you to know that and how I thanked God for you. Take care and God’s blessings to you.
Oh, my, those yellow leaves, they look so golden!
Even if your words are few they are still powerful and your colours are vivid. I am so pleased to be back after my enforced break from blogging.
love your bright beauty !!
We are rich, indeed…
Love all the pictures you’ve shared!
Love and joy to you, Jennifer…
Huge joy… I love that sentiment. And to you, my friend. And to you.
We are sooo rich. Fall is my favorite time of year and I feel pulled into that time as soon as I see your golden leaves. It wasn’t so long ago and, yet, in some ways, it feels like it was forever ago…
What a splendor of colors and light your pictures are reflecting! Your art is filled with energy and joy, I hope you’ll be blessed by the inspiration when painting and sharing your art – Your art is beautiful, tender and strong!
What a way to be rich my friend. Thanks for sending out the golden glow and share it’s beauty with me. Be happy and have a great day.
Hugs Dagmar
