brushstrokes and blessing….
there is blessing stretching out to brush you, friend,
for fresh firm grace
to relax
into the time enough,
to stretch out spacious,
to rest into the plenty enough
to cover and fill
every place of need,
to breathe into space enough
for all your thoughts
to settle gentle,
to lean into healthy connection enough
for living waters
to refresh your spirit strong,
for face pressed into comfort enough
to see the brilliance flickering
in the dark.
to journey on wrapped in love enough
to weather whatever,
peaceful and grateful
for another day
to do joy,
joy that is enough.
Can you feel the brushstrokes?
“Trust is the fruit of a relationship
in which you know you are loved.”
W. Paul Young

Several have mentioned how Spring-like these photos. These beauties are actually an Autumn specialty
where I live…..wild and unruly, they spill down embankments like rogue waves
on all the backroads I travel. It’s hard to stay in the car.
Sometimes I want to just park and walk for miles alongside
this sea of smiling faces.
linking up with Sandra to get still, go slow, and savor.
(I can’t get badges to work right now for some reason. It’s on the list…..it’s on the list.)
Absolutely beautiful, Jennifer, and your photos are magnificent!
xo
this is good news indeed, my friend.
+ please thank the flowers for delivering it.

A breath of sunshine is your post for me today, thank you sweet Jennifer for bringing Summer back here. I am so glad to read your words. Hugs to you and thank you for your kindness xo
Both your thoughts so beautifully expressed and your photos lift my spirits. Such brilliance, both!
Of course your words are eloquent as usual, but I especially like seeing the beauty of the photos. We are expecting possible snow flurries already on Tuesday. Love the change of seasons living high on a mountain.
Beautiful. I feel comfort in the “enough”. Thank you. I hope you feel comfort, too. Kath
Oh I can feel the beauty of these words,
Digging deep into my heart. It’s so nice to see the change of seasons in your pictures, somehow they remind me of spring.. I feel so refreshed just by reading your blogpost.
I hope things are going much better with you (and your family) these days.
Hugs 🙂
Lindsay
There is snow on the ground this morning
northern climes have given way to winter’s first breath
calling leaves to fall and flowers to deadhead their way back to sleep
until spring can seep in and warm their roots
in the meantime…
I shall settle awhile into the beauty of your flowers
dipping my toe into the warming embrace of your words
calling me to step beyond the cool harsh breath of winter
tingling on my neck
into that place where no matter the weather
I know
I am enough
and life is beautiful no matter the seasons falling all around me.
Hugs beautiful Jennifer.
Thanks for the warm reminder of summer’s bounty.
