Coming into canopy….

ripplespeak
Crispy and cluttered
and coming undone
I come
crawling into the lap of Love,
my “what ifs” coaxed
into capable
caring hands

ripplespeak

and I go calm
as living breezes croon over me
with gentle affection
and kisses
of courage
….no need to climb;
this Love is clever enough,

ripplespeak

doesn’t even need my strength
…just wants me
and my real, true colors.

ripplespeak

Soothing shelter coaches my soul
to cast off the cares,
toss the control,
and let this crazy sweetness
captivate me
with the clear cooling light
that cradles
comforts
and companions me.

ripplespeak

Yeah,  I’m covered:)

I love all of the metaphors you get from the simplicity. The image of being covered, my "what ifs" coaxed into capable caring hands. This is such a safe, beautiful picture of the love he has for us. love it! xo, e

What a beautiful poem. I love how every particle of your being seems to wax poetically. Truly refreshing.

Also, I just saw on your blogger page that you live in Charlotte. I lived there for 10 years! And actually, we just moved from Maryland back to NC – I'm in Fayetteville. Small world.

Is that a bluebird box on the tree? or a bat box? Last night a bat flew right at my windshield, but at the last second, he swerved!

Thanks for coming by my blog again. I really appreciate it.

I just love these photos! So peaceful and beautiful. I have a large tree in my backyard that used to have a canopy chair and then a canopy under it. I loved the feel of sitting under that tree and watching the world around me.

The words are wonderful — the photos so beautiful. Again, your sense of color makes me dizzy with joy!
